Most Influential Americans: Joseph and Brigham
According to Atlantic magazine among the 100 most influential figures in American history, there are Joseph Smith and Brigham Young. They come respectively #52 and # 74.
About Joseph Smith they say, “ The founder of Mormonism, America’s most famous homegrown faith.”
And about Brigham Young, “ What Joseph Smith founded, Young preserved, leading the Mormons to their promised land.”
It sounds good for now. However, in 50 years from now, or even less, I am sure that those two prophets will rank much higher and right now already rank higher in the eyes of many people.
